The representatives of Rotary Club de Curitiba Oeste received a warm welcome by the Rotarians of Rotary Club Paris Ouest.

During the meeting that took place last Thursday, 18th February at 12:30am, the representatives of Curitiba Oeste were welcomed in Portuguese by fellow Rotarian Jean Claude, of the hosting club.

 After exchanging banners, Rotarian Carlos Alexandre gave a talk to the host club about Curitiba, Distrito 4730, Curitiba Oeste e their Projects: Macieira Rural School, Good Sight, Oral Health e Parasitology.

One of the members of Rotary Paris Ouest remembered a song that talks about Curitiba and recited its verses.

At the end of the meeting there was yet another great surprise. One of the members of the Parisian club, Jun Kanno, is the son of PDRI Tario Kanno, who served RI in the same period as our dear PDRI Guido Arzua (83/85).

The meeting ended with the feeling that Communities were strengthened and Continents united through this great moment of international harmony that Rotary propitiates.
