With 17 riders (see list below), the first Friends Kart Racing, which occurred on 03/26/2011 at the Raceland Karting was a success! "The idea of ​​getting together with friends for a kart racing and support, at the same time, people in need, were very lucky. Besides the adrenaline at the track, with talented racers, the feeling of doing good for the community is very rewarding. "says Fernando Lopes, a businessman and creator of the event.

The event, which was supported by Curitiba Oeste, Lopes Brasil and Mastersoft Computing, was moved to sympathy, since all participants, no matter drivers or audience, had excelled themselves in bringing pieces of clothing for donation.

We collected more than 45 kg of clothes in good condition, which were donated in a spirit of unity and willingness to serve others. With the support of the Rotary Club de Curitiba Oeste and District 4730, collected pieces went to the victims of flood in the coast of Paraná, more specifically the population of Morretes - one of the most affected.

The donations were delivered to District 4730 Headquarters for forwarding to the Eats Coast of Parana
